We are looking for a skilled Snowflake Analytics Platform / Cloud Engineer to design, build, manage, and support secure, scalable, and reliable cloud-based analytics platforms. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with Snowflake and Dagster, cloud engineering, analytics platform architecture, repository management, and data platform security. The candidate will be responsible for supporting backend data platforms that power external, client-facing products and services. This role requires strong technical expertise, collaboration with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Data Engineering, and Product Engineering teams, and the ability to manage stakeholders confidently. The successful candidate may also contribute to large-scale, cross-functional transformation programmes, platform modernisation, and cloud engineering initiatives.
-Design, build, maintain, and improve cloud-based analytics platforms and data infrastructure. -Work hands-on with Snowflake and Dagster for analytics platform development, data orchestration, and workflow management. -Design, organise, and manage end-to-end repositories for analytics platforms. -Implement and maintain Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), environment-level access restrictions, and security best practices. -Ensure proper separation and access management across Production and UAT environments. -Support backend data platforms used by external customers and client-facing products and services. -Collaborate with SRE, Data Engineering, and Product Engineering teams to deliver reliable and scalable platform solutions. -Troubleshoot platform issues and support platform reliability, security, performance, and maintainability. -Follow engineering best practices for repository management, deployment, and environment configuration. -Communicate technical decisions, risks, and solutions clearly to stakeholders. -Handle difficult stakeholder conversations, resolve conflicts professionally, and manage expectations confidently. -Contribute to large-scale organisational transformation and cross-functional platform improvement initiatives.
-Demonstrated hands-on experience with Snowflake and Dagster. -Practical knowledge of cloud engineering and data platform foundation work. -Experience designing and managing end-to-end analytics platform repositories. -Understanding of RBAC, access permissions, and environment-level security restrictions. -Experience maintaining separation between Production and UAT environments. -Understanding of backend data platforms supporting external, client-facing products or services. -Ability to work effectively with SRE, Data, and Product Engineering teams. -Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. -Confidence in managing challenging discussions and communicating technical decisions. -Ability to work in a cross-functional engineering environment.
-Experience contributing to large-scale, cross-functional transformation programmes. -Exposure to enterprise-wide technology transformation and platform modernisation initiatives. -Experience supporting production-grade analytics platforms and customer-facing data services. -Familiarity with cloud platform governance, deployment processes, and engineering standards. -Experience working in environments that require strong security, reliability, and operational controls.
