Job summary
We are looking for a motivated and analytical Data Analyst Intern to join our team. The intern will work with real-world data to collect, clean, analyze, and visualize information that supports business decision-making. Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and organize data from various sources.
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and business insights.
- Create and maintain reports and dashboards using Excel and Power BI.
- Write basic SQL queries to extract and analyze data.
- Perform data validation and quality checks.
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for business teams.
- Assist senior data analysts with ongoing analytics projects.
- Transform raw data into meaningful visualizations.
- Document analysis processes and findings.
- Collaborate with different teams to understand their data requirements.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of data analysis concepts.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Basic knowledge of SQL.
- Understanding of charts, tables, and data visualization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and attention to detail.
Preferred qualifications
- Basic experience with Power BI or Tableau.
- Familiarity with Python and libraries such as Pandas.
- Understanding of data cleaning and data transformation.
- Experience working with academic or personal data-analysis projects.
- Basic understanding of statistics and business intelligence.
