We are looking for an experienced Cloud / DevOps Engineer with 7+ years of experience in infrastructure automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and modern DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will have strong Terraform expertise, experience implementing GitHub-based CI/CD pipelines, and a security-first mindset built around zero-trust architecture and least-privilege access. The successful candidate will document solutions thoroughly, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and ensure that infrastructure is maintainable, secure, and operable by the wider engineering team. Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication, proactive problem-solving, and strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to communicate confidently with UK stakeholders. Two specialisations are available: Azure and Kubernetes, or Snowflake operations in collaboration with the DataOps team.
Design, build, and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles. Automate infrastructure provisioning and changes through GitHub-based CI/CD pipelines rather than manual intervention. Apply zero-trust security principles, least-privilege access controls, and secure secrets and identity management. Maintain infrastructure reliability, consistency, security, and operational readiness. Produce clear technical documentation as part of the delivery process. Collaborate with engineering, security, and DataOps teams as relevant to the role. Share knowledge, mentor colleagues, and enable the team to operate and maintain delivered solutions independently. Communicate technical decisions, risks, and progress clearly to UK stakeholders.
