Job summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Business Analyst to analyze business requirements, improve processes, and work closely with stakeholders, product, development, and QA teams. The ideal candidate will translate business needs into clear requirements and help deliver effective, data-driven solutions. Success in the first 90 days includes understanding business processes, documenting requirements accurately, building strong stakeholder relationships, and contributing to ongoing projects.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
- Create BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with product, development, and QA teams.
- Analyze existing business processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications.
- Conduct stakeholder meetings and requirement-gathering sessions.
- Support developers and QA teams by clarifying functional requirements.
- Analyze data using Excel and SQL to generate meaningful business insights.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and process documentation when required.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and project discussions.
- Perform requirement validation and support user acceptance testing.
- Track requirements and ensure solutions meet business objectives.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in business analysis or a related role.
- Strong understanding of requirements gathering and analysis.
- Experience creating BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Good knowledge of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience working with cross-functional product, development, and QA teams.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting tools.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar project-management tools.
- Understanding of process mapping and workflow documentation.
